Dragons claim road win against Adair County

Warren Central’s boys’ basketball team claimed a 58-56 road win at Adair County on Tuesday night.
The victory was the fourth win in five days for the Dragons.
Jarek Kirk had 13 points to pace Warren Central (22-4), which also got double-digit scoring from Robert McAfee (11 points), Dominique Anthony (10) and Ryan Hulbert.
The loss snapped a 12-game winning streak for Adair County (20-5).
Warren Central returns to action Saturday at home against Evangel Christian.
ACS 54, Russellville 52
Senior Jackson Morris scored 19 points on senior night to lead host Allen County-Scottsville to a 54-52 win against Russellville on Tuesday.
Fellow senior Kyler Pedigo added 14 points and four assists, while De’Ante Grainger tallied his first career double-double with career highs of 16 points and 12 rebounds.
ACS (11-14) visit Greenwood on Friday.
Russellville (5-18) is at District 13 rival Todd County Central on Friday.
Edmonson County 72, Hart County 47
Ben Sanders led four Edmonson County scorers in double digits with 15 points as the host Wildcats beat Hart County 72-47 on Tuesday.
Tyer Wilson added 11 points and eight rebounds, and Braxtin Lindsey and Owen Ruth scored 10 points each in the victory.
Edmonson County (13-8) is back in action Thursday with a road matchup against District 12 foe Butler County.
Logan County 72, Bluegrass Blazers 40
Samson Hightower scored 25 points and pulled down seven rebounds to boost host Logan County to a 72-40 win against the Bluegrass Blazers home school program Tuesday night.
Nicholas Blann and Brady Hinton added 10 points each for the Cougars.
Logan County (16-9), which has won six straight games, is on the road to take on District 13 rival Franklin-Simpson on Friday.
GIRLS
ACS 72, Russellville 27
Avery Morris tallied 23 points to pace homestanding Allen County-Scottsville to a 72-27 win against Russellville on Tuesday.
Aubrie Naiser added 14 points, and Riley Roy had a near double-double with nine points and nine rebounds for the Lady Patriots.
ACS (14-11) is back in action Friday at Greenwood.
DeMyiah Allen notched a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Panthers in the loss. Russellville (1-21) is at District 132 foe Todd County Central on Friday.
Butler County 59, Ohio County 55
Ann Marie Skaggs scored 20 points to lead host Butler County to a 59-55 win against Ohio County on Tuesday.
Ava Wilson added 18 points for the Lady Bears.
Butler County (10-12) is on the road to face McLean County on Thursday.
Edmonson County 54, Hart County 42
Cariann Williams posted a double-double with 21 points and 15 rebounds to lift host Edmonson County to a 54-42 win against Hart County on Tuesday.
Shelby Sowders added 16 points and Kennadi Swihart had 12 points for the Lady Cats in the win.
Edmonson County (15-8) visits District 12 foe Butler County on Friday.
