BOWLING GREEN – William Ray Huntsman, 80, of Bowling Green, KY and formerly of Scottsville, passed away Monday, February 3, 2025 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.

Will was a former employee of Scotscraft, Campbell Chevrolet, Leachman Buick and Met Life agent. He was a member of St. James United Methodist Church and former member of Union Chapel Methodist Church, former President of Warren County Little League Baseball and former member and Past President of Indian Hills Country Club and Greenwood Optimist Club.

He was a son of the late Dexter Ray Huntsman and Comilla Dean Meador Huntsman and husband of the late Brenda Lois Cox Huntsman. He is survived by 1 son: Brent Allan Huntsman and wife, Kim, Alvaton, KY; 1 daughter: Kelly Denise Sullivan and husband, Dwight, Islamorada, FL; 3 brothers: Edward Huntsman and wife, Beverly, Three Forks, KY; Harold Huntsman, Franklin, KY and Ricky Huntsman and wife, Kim, Burkesville, KY; 3 sisters: Brenda Arterburn and husband, Phillip, Scottsville, KY; Lenda Smith and husband, Jackie, Hendersonville, TN and Martha Morrison and husband, Kenneth, Frankfort, KY; 1 sister-in-law: Phyllis Huntsman, Brownsburg, IN; 5 grandchildren: Jeffery Sullivan, Allan Huntsman (Madison), Connor Sullivan (Angelina), Chelsea Huntsman and Dakota Sullivan (Cheyanne) and 1 great grandson: Dalton Jakob Sullivan. He was preceded in death by 1 brother: Alton Jay Huntsman and 1 sister: Mary West Herrington.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Maxie McGuffey and Bro. Gary Sullivan officiating and burial in Union Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 7:00 a.m. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Union Chapel Cemetery or The Hospice House. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
