Keith Gordon Sadler

BROWNSVILLE – Keith Gordon Sadler, 84, 0f Alvaton passed away Jan. 20, 2025, at Hospice House in Bowling Green. Born May 16, 1940, in Cambridge, MA, he graduated from Falmouth (Maine) High School in 1958, attended Burdette and Boston Universities and served a combined six years reserve duty in the US Air Force and the US Army.
Keith spent his lifetime as a successful sales executive in the industrial cleaning equipment business working for national companies such as Clark, American-Lincoln and Southern Sweeper and Scrubbers. During his career, he lived in California, Oregon and Arkansas before moving to Bowling Green in 2007. He stayed physically fit and active all his life and was an active member in each of the communities in which he lived-having served as a school board member, a Jaycee, a Toastmaster, an Optimist and various positions in the United Methodist and Episcopalian churches.
Locally, Ketih was a member of Crime Stoppers, Corvette City Bop Club and was a participant in the Vanderbilt University Alzheimer’s Research Study and chose to donate brain tissue for this purpose. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Marshall Sadler and Althea Bladwin Sadler and his wife of 36 years, Billie Jo Mann Sadler.
A celebration of life service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday February 8, 2025, at Gravil Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will take place in New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, OK at a later date.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Jo Simon Sims; a son, Dr. Philip Sadler (Dr. Jennifer Sadler) of Lakeview, AR; a sister, Donna Cantrill of Carlisle, MA; a brother, Bruce Sadler of Shrewbury, MA; three step daughters, Jennifer L. Sims (Greg Renfro), Sheri A. Sims and Julie B. Kitchens (Chris) all of Bowling Green; and several nieces and nephews.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Alzheimer’s research or Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
