Angela (Berry) Lasley

BOWLING GREEN – Angela (Berry) Lasley, 68 of Bowling Green, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 1. She was born in Elizabethton, Tennessee, to the late Jim Berry and Doris (Wood) Berry. After obtaining her nursing degree, she practiced as a nurse for many years.

She was a respected member of the Kentucky Board of Nursing, serving both as a board member and as Vice President. Angela furthered her education by earning a Master’s in Children and Family Ministry from Bethel Seminary and a Doctorate of Ministry from George Fox University.

She served as a children’s pastor at Hillvue Heights Church for nearly 30 years, where her compassion and commitment to her faith touched many lives. Most recently, Angela earned a degree as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, dedicating herself to supporting the community through her work with LifeSkills. Angela was preceded in death by her sister Allison Berry.

She is survived by her two brothers, Jim Berry of Glasgow and Joey Berry of Munfordville; her daughter Kate Lasley (husband Jason Gostowski) of Woodburn; her son Aaron Lasley (wife Catie Lasley) of Lexington; and her two beloved grandchildren, Ada Lasley and Ara Lasley of Lexington.

The memory of Angela’s love, care, and devotion will be cherished by all who knew her. Visitation for Angela will be at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel from 4:00 until 7:00 PM Thursday, February 6, 2025, and Friday morning from 9:00 until 10:00 AM.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, February 7, 2025 at the funeral home. Burial will be 12:00 noon Friday in the Munfordville City Cemetery.
