Western Kentucky graduate student Luke Fuller was named to the All-Conference USA Men’s Golf First Team on Wednesday.
Middle Tennessee’s Owen Stamper, a former Allen County-Scottsville High School standout, also garnered All-CUSA first-team honors.
Fuller earned his spot on the team after clinching the CUSA individual championship last month.
In addition to winning the CUSA championship, Fuller ended his season with a 71.8 stroke average and turned in four finishes in the top 10 while being the team’s top finisher in five of the 10 tournaments the Tops played this year.
Stamper, a senior, earned his second career All-CUSA after leading MTSU in stroke average at 71.2 at the end of the CUSA championship. A three-time CUSA Men’s Golfer of the Week this season, the Scottsville native finished in the top 10 of the field six times this season, including an individual title at the Argent Financial Classic.
Both Fuller and Stamper were slated to compete in the third round of the NCAA West Lafayette Regional on Wednesday in West Lafayette, Indiana.
