Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland (Glasgow) was awarded a $2,500 grant from the Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation.

In total, the FLFCF is awarding more than $675,000 in grants to over 250 nonprofit agencies and community feeding partners across Food Lion’s 10-state footprint.

Since its inception in 2001, the foundation has donated over $18.9 million across its operating area.

The grants support local organizations’ efforts to nourish neighbors experiencing hunger and provide nutritional education to their communities.
