Warren Central’s Elijah Starks provided a big spark for the Dragons in Tuesday’s 65-59 win over Adair County.

Starks finished with 24 points and 11 rebounds to help the Dragons rally from a second-half deficit and earn the victory against one of the top teams in Region 5.

For the season, Starks is averaging 17.6 points and 9.9 rebounds.

The senior forward said he was just doing his part to help Warren Central get the win.

“We were a bit sluggish to start the game, so I knew I had to give our team a spark,” Starks said. “When I did, we made a run.”
