Warren wasn’t the only Hilltopper under par, as redshirt senior Nic Hofman posted a 1-under 71. After a rough first two rounds on Sunday, freshman Rafe Blankenship bounced back and tallied an even-par 72 on Monday.

“Today was definitely a good day,” WKU coach Austin King said in a news release. “Obviously, a great week for Stephen with a top-5 finish in a strong field, and it was also good to see Nic continue his solid play. As I mentioned yesterday was a tough day, but the young guys did a good job of responding and made today better. We will use today’s round as some momentum for the rest of the fall and get ready to get after again this weekend in Wisconsin.”

As a team, WKU played the par 5s at 5-under-par for the week.

Warren has played three of his last four rounds at under par. He tallied five more birdies on Monday and finished the tournament with 13 total. That mark was tied for second most in the tournament. Warren was 1-under on par 4s and 4-under on par 5s during the event.

Hofman played the par 4s at even-par and the par 5s at 2-under-par, and led the team with 37 pars on the week. He also added eight birdies.

Reed Richey (-2) and Blankenship (-1) were both under par on the par 5s.

WKU is back in action for the Badger Invitational in Madison, Wisconsin starting on Sunday.
