Gators stretch win streak to four with home victory against Scotties

Host Greenwood claimed its fourth straight victory with a 3-0 boys’ soccer win against Glasgow on Tuesday.
Imran Kavazovic, Joe Padgett and Anthony Hercules scored goals for the Gators. Mabishwa Toto, Rowan Rizkallah and Pleh Reh each tallied an assist in the win.

Barren County 1, Warren East 0
Max Bennett connected for a goal off a free kick to boost visiting Barren County to a 1-0 win in double overtime against District 15 rival Warren East on Tuesday.
Barren County goalkeeper Calib Self preserved the shutout for the Trojans.
Barren County (6-3-1 overall, 2-1 District 15) is scheduled to play two games at Greenwood on Saturday.

Goalkeeper Shayna Stevens tallied five saves to preserve the shutout for Allen County-Scottsville (5-4), which visits District 15 foe Barren County on Thursday.
Franklin-Simpson 7, Logan County 2
Addy McKinney tallied four goals to spark host Franklin-Simpson to a 7-2 win against District 13 rival Logan County on Tuesday.
Kaylee Barrow added a goal and two assists, Lily Tyree notched a goal and an assist, Ava Holland scored a goal and Madison Slate finished with two assists.
Slate and Cecilia Huggins combined for six saves in goal for Franklin-Simpson (6-2, 3-0).
Nia Scipio and Lilaina Veigel scored goals and Kyla Bilyeu tallied an assist for Logan County (4-4-1, 2-1), which hosts Portland (Tennessee) on Thursday.

Amirra Bailey tallied 19 kills and three blocks to lead visiting Bowling Green to a 3-0 win against Warren East on Tuesday.
Morgan Rockrohr added six kills and four aces, Chayse Gilliland had five kills and three blocks, Alona Lupardus tallied four kills, JoEllen Marshall finished with 33 assists, and Olivia Arauz had six digs and three aces for the Lady Purples.
Bowling Green (5-3) is back in action Sept. 12 at District 14 foe Warren Central.

Host Edmonson County outlasted District 12 rival Grayson County for a 3-2 26-24, 23-25, 23-25, 31-29, 15-13) win Tuesday night.
Josie Lich had 14 kills and 14 digs for the host Lady Cats. Brookelyn Simon had 11 kills, 33 digs and eight aces, Bailey Ferguson tallied eight kills and 62 digs, Julie Norris had seven kills, Reagan Ferguson finished with four kills, 35 assists, 31 digs and a trio of aces, Laney Belle Woodcock had four blocks, Averie Hill had 58 digs, and Allie Faulkner totaled 35 digs and six aces.
