Western Kentucky senior Catie Craig shot a 5-over par 76 in Monday's opening round of the U.S. Women's Amateur Golf Championship on Monday at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Western Kentucky senior Catie Craig finished the first round of the 124th Women’s U.S. Amateur Golf Tournament on Monday in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a 5-over par 76.

The Lady Topper made par on 11 of her 18 holes in the round at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa. Craig sank a birdie on the No. 4 hole before going par on hole five and bogeying on the following hole.

Craig was tied for 68th heading into Tuesday’s second round. She was just two shots out of being in the top 20 in the field.
