A single-vehicle accident early Saturday in Bowling Green resulted in the death of the driver.

According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called around 6:30 a.m. to 6770 Buddy Miller Drive about the crash, in which an investigation determined that the vehicle had been traveling south on Ky. 9007 at a high rate of speed, crossed Scottsville Road, struck an embankment and went airborne over Buddy Miller Drive before landing on the roof of a car parked next to the residence at 6770 Buddy Miller Drive.

The driver, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
