BG woman receives 10-year sentence for meth, weapons offenses

A Bowling Green woman caught with methamphetamine and handguns in her possession has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for federal crimes.
Adrienne Cauzzort, 40, received the sentence in U.S. District Court in Bowling Green after pleading guilty to possession of meth with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Kentucky, Cauzzort had 30.27 grams of meth and two handguns in her possession on June 6, 2022, in a case that was investigated by the Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
