High alert, prayer in BG after 9/11

On Sept. 11, 2001, people across the United States and the world watched in horror as planes crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.

With little information about the attacks, all local governments and law enforcement could do was to be on high alert and pray. The Park City Daily News reported that “Bowling Green and Warren County governments today planned a prayer service for noon.”
