City police are seeking out information regarding a pickup truck believed to have struck and killed a cyclist over the weekend.
Terry Zweig, 46, was found dead Saturday morning on the side of Louisville Road near Moorman Lane after Bowling Green Police Department officers responded to a call to check his welfare.
According to BGPD, Zweig was riding his bicycle south toward Bowling Green when he was struck by a pickup truck.
Police say the incident occurred between 7:30 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday.
BGPD said that the motor vehicle believed to be involved was a 2003-2009 model year Dodge Ram truck.
Officer Ronnie Ward, BGPD spokesman, said in a text message that debris found at the scene has given police an indication of the specific vehicle involved in what is being investigated as a hit-and-run.
Ward said the truck is believed to have damage on the passenger side.
