The children of David and Karen (McPhail) Ashby happily announce their parents’ 50th wedding anniversary.

David and Karen were married May 22, 1972, at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Russellville.

They have been blessed with two children and six grandchildren: Justin (Jaclyn) lives in Oneonta, Ala., and they have three children, Elsie Kate, Lucy and Hudson. Sara (Matthew) Montgomery lives in Russellville and they have three children, Sabrina, Saige and Savanna.

David and Karen are both retired from Logan Aluminum.
