Hilltopper basketball announces 2019 summer camp schedule

Western Kentucky men’s basketball announced its full schedule of summer camps Tuesday, with options available for a variety of ages of youth campers.
WKU will host its High School Team Camp on June 6-8, its Overnight Camp on June 16-19 and its Day Camp on June 24-27. All will take place at E.A. Diddle Arena.

The Overnight Camp and Day Camp include WKU gear, instruction by current and former WKU players, individual competition contests, 3-on-3 competition, 5-on-5 competition, individual skill development sessions, a certificate and trophy of participation, an autograph session, an award ceremony and faculty/staff discounts.
The Overnight Camp is open to boys in grades 5-12 and costs $290 per camper. A commuter rate is available for $250 that includes dinner June 16, as well as lunch and dinner June 17-18. Parents will drop off commuters at 8:15 a.m. and pick them up at 9:15 p.m.
Day-of registration is June 16 from 2 to 4 p.m., while checkout is at noon June 19. Dinner is included June 16, as are all meals June 17-18 and breakfast June 19th.
The Day Camp is open to boys in grades 1-8 and costs $225 per camper. Lunch is included each day. The camp runs 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. each day from June 24-27, with day-of registration at 8 a.m. June 24.
The High School Team Camp includes a six-game minimum, varsity and junior varsity tournaments, a situational tournament, a T-shirt for each camper and coach, polos for each coach, a coaches’ social and prizes for each championship winning team.
The team fee is $100, and the cost per camper is $60 for commuting without meals, $105 for commuting with meals and $150 for overnight with meals.
Each overnight team is allowed one coach to attend free per every eight kids, while any extra individuals will be charged half-price of the regular player fee.
