John Dix

John Dix, general manager of the Warren County Water District, Butler County Water System and Simpson County Water District, was elected president of the Kentucky Rural Water Association’s board of directors during the association’s annual conference Aug. 27-29 in Louisville.

Dix was elected to the association’s board of directors in 2015 and has served as vice president for the past two years.

Dix also serves as president of the Kentucky Rural Water Finance Corp. He was appointed to the state Water Resources Board in 2016 and named vice president of the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors in 2017.

The Warren County Water District is a public water and wastewater utility serving more than 29,000 water and 7,000 wastewater customers.
