Evan Edward Rudolph

Lexington – Dr. Evan E. Rudolph, 76, passed away February 9, 2018 at 8:15pm after a year and nine month battle with Leukemia.

Dr. Rudolph received his Ph.D. from the University of Denver. He was formerly the Director of Training and Development for Kraft Foods. He held faculty positions at Ohio University and Western Kentucky University.

Evan was well known in the south central and south eastern United States business communities as a process design consultant. In the educational community, he trained high school and vocational school teachers in the areas of job search and retention. He authored numerous books and scholarly papers in this discipline.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leota Rountree Rudolph and Edward E. Rudolph of Benton, KY. Dr. Rudolph is survived by three sons, Brad of Lexington, KY; Clay (Meg) of Minneapolis, MN; Scott (Rebecca) of Bend, OR and four grandchildren, Jack, Kate, Simon and Tessa.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Andover Campus, Lexington, KY. Visitation will be Thursday, February 15 from 9a-11am at the First United Methodist Church, Andover Campus, 4131 Todds Road, Lexington, KY, 40509, with the funeral service immediately following. The family expresses their appreciation to Dr. Craig Eckfeldt, Ms. Karen Reed, RN and the staff at the Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota and Dr. Maryam Zia, Ms Lara Zavalza, RN and staff at the Markey Cancer Center, University of Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or The American Cancer Society.

Burial will be in the family plot in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Marshall County, Kentucky.
