When police arrived and knocked on the door, an officer watched through a window as a woman ran from a back bedroom to the front of the house.

The homeowner answered the door and police asked if Mosby was inside. She said Mosby was inside and police stepped in and found Mosby hiding in a closet near the front of the house, according to her arrest citation.

When police searched Mosby, they said they found a spoon in her back right pocket. The spoon had residue on one side and burn marks on the other side, according to her arrest citation. Police searched Mosby’s purse that was in the closet with her and found five needles, two of which were loaded with a grayish-colored liquid, according to her arrest citation.

Police also found a set of scales with residue on them.

Police read Mosby her rights and she opted to speak. She told police she had another needle inside her bra so officers took off one handcuff so she could take the needle out of her bra. When police asked what was in the needle she said she paid for methamphetamine but the dealer ripped her off, according to her arrest citation. She said she knew after shooting up that the substance she shot up was not methamphetamine, according to her citation.

Mosby was served with the five outstanding warrants – four on contempt of court charges and one on probation violation – and was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree possession of a controlled substance second offense methamphetamine.

She was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center without bond.
