CHC names Kullman, Moore vice presidents

Commonwealth Health Corp, recently announced the promotion of Betsy Kullman and Sarah Moore to executive vice presidents of CHC.

Kullman has been with the company for 35 years, serving as a staff nurse and vice president of patient care services. In addition to her new responsibilities, she will continue to serve as chief nursing officer at The Medical Center.

Moore has been with the organization for 31 years, having served as staff nurse, director of community wellness and administrator of The Medical Center at Scottsville. She assumes her new role after serving as vice president of The Medical Center.

Kullman earned a master of science degree in nursing education from the University of Kentucky and holds nursing administration advanced certification. Moore holds a master’s degree in public health from Western Kentucky University and is a licensed nursing home administrator in Kentucky.

Local chamber honored for excellence, Web

The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce won the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives award last week for best Web site and the KCCE Excellence award for outstanding membership retention.

The chamber underwent a complete redesign of its Web site, www.bgchamber.com, this spring to provide more information to partners and visitors.

The chamber also recently received three literature and promotion awards from the Southern Economic Development Council for its economic development marketing materials.

The chamber’s southcentral Kentucky brochure and Kentucky Transpark brochure received excellence awards, and the South Central Kentucky Marketing Portfolio received a merit award from the SEDC.

The SEDC is the oldest and largest regional economic development association in North America with members in 17 states across the American South.

Ribbon cutting

The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting for Crazy Eddy’s Furniture on 1060 Pedigo Way, behind Pier 1 Imports, at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
