Workforce Board has three new members

The South Central Workforce Development Board added three new members.
John Conrad, training manager at Country Oven Bakery, replaced Bud Layne as the apprenticeship appointee. Rodney Rogers, president of Stewart Richey Construction, replaced Greg Head as a business appointee. Lakeesha Tisdale, center manager for the Office of Employment and Training in Bowling Green’s Kentucky Career Center on Chestnut Street, replaced Vickie Wade as interim OET representative.

The board, funded largely through the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, provides services to job-seekers and employers in the 10 counties that make up the Barren River region.
