The Edmonson County girls’ basketball team improved to 5-0 with a 61-28 victory over Franklin-Simpson on Tuesday at Franklin-Simpson.

Lauren Ballance, Peyton Martin and Caitlin Simon led the way with 13 points each for Edmonson County.

The Lady Cats host Barren County at 6 p.m. Thursday. Franklin-Simpson will host Warren Central at 6 p.m. Thursday.

South Warren 79, Apollo 39

Amaya Lasley and Peyton Ferry had 17 points each to lead the Spartans past Apollo on Tuesday.

Natalie Pierce added 13 points for South Warren (6-0), who have scored at least 70 points five times in six games.

South Warren will host Greenwood at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Allen Co.-Scott. 56, Warren East 31

Sarah Sutton had 20 points as the Lady Patriots moved to .500 with the victory.

Mason Towery added 13 points for Allen County-Scottsville (3-3), which will host Franklin-Simpson at 6 p.m. Friday.

Cressida Duncan led Warren East (3-4) with nine points. The Lady Raiders play at Cumberland County at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Allen Co.-Scott. 40

Treante Patterson scored 24 points to lead host Warren East to a 45-40 win over Allen County-Scottsville on Tuesday.

Brett Rippy and Marcus Carter finished with 14 points each for the Patriots.

Warren East will play at Cumberland County at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Allen County-Scottsville will host Franklin-Simpson at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
