As a fairly frequent walker around, through and past Kereiakes Park, I am impressed with the level of participation and variety of activities going on there.

Whether it is walkers, joggers, bicyclists, tennis players, disc golfers, basketball, gardeners, youth ball players or organizational and school use, there are generally citizens using and enjoying the park.

The one area that seems to serve a limited age range of youth is the play area. It is sort of puny compared to Warren County’s Basil Griffin children’s play area.

I am sure Spero would be proud and honored to have his name on Kereiakes Park.
