MOAA’s Dr. Ray Biggerstaff said the four honorees have been committed to serving veterans with special emphasis on the veterans nursing home project that will serve 40,000 veterans from 24 counties in southcentral Kentucky.

Previously, MOAA honored state Sen. Mike Wilson, R-Bowling Green, and BRADD’s Nick Cook for their service to southcentral Kentucky veterans.

Biggerstaff said phase II in the application for funding the nursing home is due to go to Washington by Aug. 1.
