One student has been taken to the hospital after complaining of hitting her head during a bus accident outside of Oakland Elementary School on Monday.
The bus, which was number 2743, was carrying middle and high school students when it was apparently struck on the driver’s side. The driver’s side window was cracked in a spider-web pattern and its side mirror was damaged. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office, which responded to the scene, is expected to release more information about the incident.
Morgan Watson, spokeswoman for Warren County Public Schools, said no other students reported injuries. Students could be seen being picked up by another bus and taken home.
