Bowling Green – Anna Mae “Ann” Cole, 89, of Bowling Green passed away at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN on Sunday, November 6, 2016. She was born on August 23, 1927 in Adair County, KY to the late Beckhom Leon and Mattie Emma Clark. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Marsha Wardlaw; two brothers, Herbert and John Clark; and a sister, Margaret Hortense Wesley.

Mrs. Cole was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church. There she attended the Crusaders Sunday School Class and was a proud member of the Broadway Quilters. She dedicated her life to being a loving mother and homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Tom Cole of Bowling Green; three children, Glenn Cole (Candace Steen) of Glasgow, KY, Tony Cole of Shepherdsville, KY, and Becky Garnick (Dave) of Ft. Thomas, KY; a special niece, Barbara Jane Pendleton (John) of Glasgow, KY; a son-in-law, Russ Wardlaw of Louisville, KY; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Patton (Alex), Amanda Cole, Lindsay Harden (Eric), Kaitlyn Garnick, and Ashleigh Garnick; six great-grandchildren, Jackson, Graydon, Kellyn, Harper, Molly Frances, and Wells Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral for Mrs. Cole will be Friday, November 11, 2016 at 1 PM at Broadway United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Happy Valley Memorial Gardens in Glasgow. Visitation will be Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 4 to 8 PM at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home, with additional visitation on Friday from 11 AM until the time of the funeral at Broadway United Methodist Church.
