South Central Bancshares of Kentucky Inc., parent corporation of South Central Bank, completed the purchase of Kentucky National Bancorp Inc., according to a news release.

Kentucky National Bancorp is the parent company of Kentucky Neighborhood Bank of Elizabethtown and Hardin County.

The combined assets are $1,060,000,000 as of closing date. Other details of the transaction were not disclosed.
