BOWLING GREEN – Donnie Max Arnold, 88, of Bowling Green passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025 at his residence with his family by his side. He was a Butler Co. native and was born August 3, 1936.
He was preceded in death by his parents Marion G. and Bessie (Abbott) Arnold. Also his precious wife Darlene J. Arnold and his son-in-law John M. Logan and his 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Max was retired from WRECC with 38 years of service, and he taught 3 years for Vo-Tech School. He was active member of Providence Knob Baptist Church and a veteran of the U. S. Navy.
Max comes from a family with a long line of Military Service, 93 years of service combined. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge, he loved his family and loved maintaining his meticulous yard whom many enjoyed and spending time on his family farm. Survivors is his daughter Vickie Darlene Logan and special daughter Debbie Alexander and special friend Bob Hoshall, sister-in-laws Juanita Coyle and Shirley Arnold.
Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 3:00 pm at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday 10:00 am until time of services at the funeral home, with Military Rites after the services.
