Mrs. Stephanie Ellen Clawson Hume, 31, of Franklin, passed away Jan. 4, 2016, in Barren County.
She was born March 29, 1984, in Salt Lake City, the daughter of Charles Hyrum and Alicia Susana Croucher Clawson. She was a homemaker and a member of Hope in Messiah church in Bowling Green. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Micah Gish; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Dora Kettle Croucher; and paternal grandparents, Harold and Lois Peterson Clawson.
She is survived by her husband, Matthew David Hume of Franklin; parents Charles and Susana Clawson of Burkesville; sister Vanessa (and Sheldon) Gish of Burkesville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, David Alvis and Cheryl Lamkin Hume of Bowling Green; brother-in-law James (and Robin) Hume of Bowling Green; sister-in-law Julia (and Robert) Keene of Spring Hill, Tenn.; and nieces and nephews, Matthias Gish, Lydia Gish, Joanna Gish, Marcus Gish and Jacob Hume.
Funeral is at 11 a.m. Thursday at the memory chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, with Bro. Leroy Kauffman officiating. Burial will be in Marrowbone Christian Brotherhood Cemetery at Marrowbone (Cumberland County). Casket bearers are James Hume, Robert Keene, David Hume, Charles Clawson, Sheldon Gish and James Overholt.
The family will receive friends after 2 p.m. Wednesday until the funeral Thursday.
