CLARKSVILLE, Ind. Virginia M. Graves Poe, 85, died Sept. 26, 2004, a a Sellersburg nursing home.

She was the former owner of Dixie Cream Donut Shop and Poes Gallery of Fine Prints in Owensboro, Ky., was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Whos Who in Kentucky and Calvary Baptist Church in Bowling Green, Ky. She was the wife of the late Winfred L. Poe. She was preceded in death Funeral will be at 7:30 a.m. Thursday at Generations Funeral Home, with a private burial on Friday in Owensboro. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Alzheimers Association.

Survivors include her daughter, Carla A. Poe of Clarksville and Kathy Howard of Owensboro; a grandson, Nicholas Howard; and nephew, Thomas McFall.
