The NFL draft news is picking up for former Western Kentucky players, as tight end Mitchell Henry and cornerback Dalton Patterson have reportedly secured private workouts.

National Football Post’s Aaron Wilson reported Wednesday through a source that Henry had a workout for the San Diego Chargers and would work out for an NFC team this week.

Wilson also reported Henry’s measurables from WKU’s Pro Day, which included 40-yard dash times of 4.63 and 4.66 seconds. Henry also had a 37-inch vertical jump and bench pressed 225 pounds 15 times, according to Wilson.

“I had one dropped that killed me,” Henry told the Daily News after Pro Day. “I was hoping to be perfect but wasn’t, but overall my numbers did pretty well.”

The New Orleans Advocate’s Nick Underhill reported Wednesday via a source that Patterson will work out for the Saints on Friday.
