Hoyte Gray Harwood, 67, of Bowling Green died at 3:35 a.m. Sept. 21, 2004, at his home.

The Goodlettsville, Tenn., native was a retired journeyman electrician, a member of Louisville I.B.E.W. Local 369, the Bowling Green American Legion Post 23, the Moose Lodge in Bowling Green and was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Orin Lois Harwood Sr. and Hazel B. Carter Harwood. He was preceded in death Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, with burial in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Neeley Harwood; two sons, Stan Harwood and his wife, Nann, and Glen Harwood and his wife, Suzanne, all of Bowling Green; a brother, Shelby Harwood of Bowling Green; two sisters, Alice Borders of Louisville and Charlotte Kempker of Chamblee, Ga.; four grandchildren, Emma, Sara, Zachary and Rachel; and several nieces and nephews.
