SCOTTSVILLE Deneta R. Perkins, 42, of Scottsville died Sept. 25, 2004, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

The Beech Grove, Ind., native was an employee of Houchens Industry and a member of Plum Springs Baptist Church in Bowling Green and Chapter No. 380, Order of the Eastern Star, in Burkesville. She was a daughter of the late George Thomas Perkins and Vertie Gwendoline Roach Perkins Agle of Mesa, Ariz., who survives. She was preceded in death Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, with burial in Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at Goad Funeral Home and will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Norris-New Funeral Home.

Other survivors include her stepfather, Gar Agle of Mesa; a paternal stepgrandmother, Delia Perkins of Summer Shade; three brothers, Larry Perkins and his wife, Michelle, of Leisure City, Fla., Ronnie Perkins and his wife, Jesslyn, of Danville, Ind., and Danny Perkins and his wife, Terri, of Chandler, Ariz.; two sisters, Karen Fleming and her husband, Patrick, of Chandler, Ariz., and Sharon Osterquest and her husband, Bill, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; four nephews, Larry Perkins Jr. of Connecticut, Christopher Perkins and Jon Perkins, both of Danville, and Sean Fleming of Chandler; four nieces, Lauren Williamson of Homestead, Fla., Debbie Pena of Ashland, Tenn., Tamara Perkins of Danville and Danielle Perkins of Chandler; and several aunts, uncles, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
