Vera Jane Robinson

Vera Jane Pruess Robinson, 90, of Bowling Green, died June 5, 2014, at the Colonial Center. 

She was a native of Evansville, Ind., where she married Joseph Carl Robinson in 1944. She attended Evansville College and the University of Louisville.

She was a laboratory technician at Percy Jones Army General Hospital in Battle Creek, Mich.; also, in the Bacteriology Laboratory of the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Vera was the daughter of the late John Pruess and Anna Purtzer Pruess of Evansville.

She was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Bowling Green, where a memorial service will be held at a later date. The body will be cremated.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Joseph Carl Robinson. Survivors include a son, Mark Robinson of Bowling Green, and several cousins.
