Beshear makes appointments

Gov. Steve Beshear on Friday made appointments to the Kentucky State Corrections Commission.
He appointed Lawrence White of Bowling Green, who is a self-employed environmental consultant and specialist. He represents members at large. He replaces Patricia A. Byron, whose term expired. White will serve through Feb. 17, 2017.
Beshear reappointed James H. Mooneyhan of Franklin. Mooneyhan, a former jailer, is a radio sports director at Franklin Favorite and WFKN radio. He represents members at large.
