SCOTTSVILLE – Maurice “Reacie” Pearson, 64, of Scottsville died at 9:29 p.m. Aug. 25, 2004, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Allen County native was a truck driver for Weyerhauser. He was a son of the late Desford Joyce “Dee” Pearson and Dorothy Lee Williams Pearson and the husband of the late Edith “Cookie” Pearson.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home, with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Hendrick Pearson; three sons, Jeff Pearson and his wife, Patricia, of Bowling Green, and Tim and Steve Pearson, both of Scottsville; a stepson, Jason Adkison of Parris Island, S.C.; a brother, Wendell Pearson and his wife, Patty, of Scottsville; two sisters, Beverly Anderson and Gwen Wright and her husband, Gary, all of Scottsville; five grandchildren, Derrick, Kyle, Nikki and Beth Pearson, all of Scottsville, and Mike Sims of Franklin; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
