James A. (Jimmy) Floyd

James A. (Jimmy) Floyd, 75, of Ashland City, Tenn., passed away on Aug. 1, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.A. and Helen Floyd of Bowling Green.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Virgie; two daughters, Judy Hedrick and Nancy Floyd of Nashville; a son, Jimmy W. (Brenda) Floyd of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three stepchildren, nine stepgrandchildren, and 17 stepgreat-grandchildren. Also by former wife Deane Floyd Holladay of Nashville.

Survivors also include a brother, J.A. (Carolyn) Floyd Jr. of Bowling Green and a sister, Shirley Lowe of Hermitage, Tenn. 

Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Anderson-Garrett Funeral Home in Joelton, Tenn. Interment was in Mount Sharon Cemetery, Springfield, Tenn.
