Digital Doc, an electronics repair business, recently opened in Bowling Green beside the Greenwood Mall entrance off Campbell Lane, next to Aspen Dental.

Owner Matt Lucas in a news release said Digital Doc’s ability to handle all types of repairs distinguishes the business from other repair centers. The shop specializes in diagnosing and repairing cellphones, smartphones, iPods, iPads, MacBooks, TVs, gaming systems, GPS units and most other electronics.

“It’s important to take broken equipment to certified technicians who know how to deal with static-sensitive devices,” Lucas said. “Digital Doc techs go through comprehensive training on the full range of problems we’re seeing with today’s devices and computers.”

The most common problems include cracked screens, water damage, charging issues, broken LCDs and broken logic boards. In addition, Digital Doc specializes in full-color conversions for iPhones, iPods and iPads.

In addition to repairing devices, Digital Doc buys used and broken smartphones, tablets, computers and other devices, many of which are refurbished and sold with a 30-day warranty. The store also accepts trades and handles recycling of mp3 players, cellphones, personal digital assistants, gaming devices and computers.
