Elizabeth Ann Ellis, 84, of Bowling Green, passed away at 7:15 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at her residence.

Elizabeth was born April 18, 1928, to the late Edward and Elsie Slater Vroom. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Ord Eillis Sr. She worked as an office manager for Industrial Ceramics and was a Catholic by faith, and she attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

There are no services. In lieu of flowers the family ask that you make online donations to the Hospice of Southern Kentucky at www.hospicesoky.org. J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel is entrusted with the arrangements.

Survivors include three sons, George Ord Ellis Jr. and his wife, Susan, and William Scott Ellis, all of Bowling Green, and David Todd Ellis of Baltimore; 10 grandchildren, Michael Ellis (Holly), Katie Ellis, Chip Ellis (Emily), Leigh-Anne Henson (Codi), Elizabeth Ellis, Sarah Ellis Graham (Andrew), Emily Ellis, Stephen Ellis (Brittany), Vivian Ellis and Wesley Ellis; three great-grandchildren, Zoey Ellis, Caden Ellis and Samantha Henson; a brother, Edward Vroom and his wife, Doris, of Bangor, Pa.; and a sister, Linda Micali and her husband, Edward, of East Strasburg, Pa.
