- Late version of Buster Brown.
Buster Brown was formed by Rico Thomas of Louisville in 1970 with musicians from Barren County. They were an extremely influential band in the area from 1970-1974 and have often been named by the Kentucky HeadHunters as their biggest influence. It has been suggested that Itchy Brother’s music that would evolve into the HeadHunters sound, was a continuation of that “Buster Brown boogie”.
