Mr. Wilmer ‘Bill’ Peck

FRANKLIN — Mr. Wilmer “Bill” Peck, 86, of Franklin, went to be with his Lord on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at 10:20 a.m. at his residence.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin with military honors by the Simpson County Honor Guard.
A native of Harrisonville, Pa., he was the son of the late Dewey Peck and the late Rebecca Sipes Peck. He was preceded in death by a son, Seven Mark Peck.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis England Peck; a son, David Alan Peck (Yvonne) of Powder Spring, Ga.; a daughter, Patti Ann Dennard (Brent) of Georgetown; a sister, Mary Decker of Winston-Salem, N.C.; and three grandchildren, Amy Jo Peck of Lynchburg, Va., and Blake Andrew Dennard and Brooke Ashley Dennard, both of Georgetown.
Mr. Peck was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and Gideons International. He was a retired transportation director for an asphalt company in West Palm Beach, where he lived for more than 50 years.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and from 6 a.m. until funeral service time Tuesday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
