Vaughn Donald Conley

Vaughn Donald Conley, 70, of Smiths Grove, died Friday, April 27, 2012, at the Hospice Center.

The Wisconsin native was a son of the late Donald William Conley and Laura Schreiner Conley and was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Conley. He was a self-employed cattle farmer, a member of Cattlemans Association, the Lions Club and Kellner Knights Snowmobile Club, founder of Conley’s in Kellner Supper Club and a friend of Bill W’s.

Survivors include four daughters, Shea Wilson (Dewayne), Kacey Fields (Billy), Wendy Gillespie and Kelly Haldeman (Jay); eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Connie Nelson (Carl) and Laurie Conley (Tom Irwin); and two brothers, Donald Conley (Suzie) and James Conley.

Celebration of Life service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove Chapel. Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
