Barren River Lake State Resort Park is hosting its “Chiks in the Stiks” Weekend March 18-20. This weekend is for women interested in learning more about the outdoors.There will be lessons on fishing, archery, fire building, complete with s’mores, hiking, and even a golf clinic with the park’s PGA Professional Carmello Benassi.

This package includes a lodge room for two nights, all the activities, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning and dinner on Saturday night. Barren River Lake State Resort Park near Glasgow has a lodge, cottages, Driftwood Restaurant, golf course, fitness center, gift shop, fishing, picnic areas and hiking trails. The resort is located 44 miles southeast of Bowling Green. Take I-65 to the Cumberland Parkway east, to US 31E south.
