Lois Annabel, 80, of Bowling Green, died Jan. 24, 2011, at The Medical Center.
The Marysville, Mich., native was born Nov. 2, 1930. She was a personal secretary to the Governor of Illinois and a retired manager of the Atwood Credit Union in Rockford, Ill. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was a daughter of the late John and Helen Gramer Gregory, and the wife of the late Roy Annabel Jr., who she married in 1948, and who died in 2006. She was preceded in death by a son, Greg Annabel; four brothers, Jay Lee Weymouth and Morris Weymouth and Jerry and Richard Gregory; and a sister, Victoria Dortman.
A memorial service is at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Stoner Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, Roy Annabel III and his wife, Robin, of Bowling Green and John Annabel and his wife, Dianne, of Belvidere, Ill; three daughters, Vicky Mueller and her husband, Dwight, of Rochelle, Ill., Maria Brown and her husband, Donald, of Genoa, Ill., and Deborah Marshe and her husband, Howe Strickland, of Jacksonville, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
