Thanks for returning my husband’s cane

Good news – honesty and compassion for others is not dead.
There are good people doing good deeds here in Bowling Green. My husband went to Walmart two weeks ago and when he put the shopping cart back in its place, he left his red cane with colorful markings on it in the cart. He didn’t realize it until he got home and called Walmart, which didn’t find it that day, but when he called in the next morning someone had turned it in. We sincerely appreciate this very much because we couldn’t replace it.
He bought it in Santa Fe, N.M., when our grandson was married a few years ago. It had his name and address on it, but not the phone number, which had been corrected.
With grateful appreciation.
