Kentucky Down Under offering weekend filled with family fun

Kentucky Down Under/Kentucky Caverns will have two family activities this weekend.Dollar Days for residents of Warren, Edmonson and Metcalfe counties will be Saturday and Sunday. Residents of the counties can pay $1 for admission to Kentucky Down Under with proof of residency, such as a drivers license or utility bill.Wayne Horsburgh, an Australian country music singer, will perform Saturday and Sunday. He has been nominated for Australian Showbusiness Ambassador of the Year and The Country Male Performer of the Year in the Australian Entertainment MO Awards for Excellence in Live Entertainment. He has recorded 16 albums and has won a variety of awards. His latest CDs are Land of Enchantment and Memories and Guitar Strings.Concerts times have not been determined.Kentucky Down Under/Kentucky Caverns is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission before tax is $18.75 for adults, $16.87 for seniors ages 62 and up and members of AAA, $10.50 for children ages 5-14 and free for children under 5.
