Bowling Green junior running back Montravion Graham picked the perfect time for his best statistical game of the season.

Graham ran for 81 yards – nearly doubling his season output – in Bowling Green’s 31-28 win over South Warren in the Class 5A state semifinals.

The junior running back’s big run came late in the first half, a 54-yard touchdown that gave the Purples the lead for good.

“It was very nice,” Graham said. “I love taking every opportunity that I have. Coaches told me all week that this was going to be a big game for me. I just believed the words they said and trusted them.”

Bowling Green will face Cooper in the 5A state title game on Saturday.
