MUNFORDVILLE — Mary Magdelene Sanders Thompson, 77, of Greenville, died June 8, 2010, at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.

The Edmonson County native was a member of Hill Grove Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Courtland Sanders and Dorothy Jaggers Sanders and the wife of the late Ernest Thompson. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Lynn Thompson.

Funeral is at 1 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant View United Baptist Church, with burial in Hill Grove Church Cemetery. Visitation begins at 4 p.m. today and continues Thursday at Sego Funeral Home.

Survivors include three daughters, Valerie Behringer and Rita Thompson, both of Greenville, and Lisa Hurt, of Glasgow; two sisters, Imogene Logsdon and Pearline Dennis, both of Munfordville; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
