Daniel Pike is the city editor of he Daily News.

Pike previously served sports editor at the Daily News from September 2007 to August 2010 when he was promoted to city editor.

Previously, Pike spent three years as a news and features reporter at the State Journal-Register in Springfield, Ill., and four years as sports editor at the Glasgow Daily Times.

A Glasgow native, Pike, earned a bachelor’s degree in print journalism from Western Kentucky University in 2003.

As city editor, Pike directs the news staff, crafts coverage, and assists in generating stories at the Daily News to best suit our readership.
