Cabin fever got ya down?
Dust off yours or your child’s GPS unit and bring them to “Mixing it Up” at Lost River Cave & Valley for a family fun geocaching event!
Geocaching is a FREE and exciting new hobby that is the prefect excuse for families to learn together about how to use GPS technology for fun and adventure. Geocaching brings families together and gives kids the ability to take the lead in this outdoor activity. Take in the fresh air and sunshine and enjoy the great outdoors.
At this event, you will get to meet other “newbies” and experienced geocachers and have the opportunity to learn about their favorite sites and tricks of the trade. Start the new year off right by getting your family down the path of a new, fun and healthy outdoor activity.
This FREE event will be facilitated by local geocaching expert and seasoned Lost River volunteer, Danny Bays. Danny promises that you will be a pro in no time. FREE chips, drinks, and other snacks will be provided at the event.
Meet at the picnic area behind the Visitors Center. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved into the Blacksmith’s Shop.
